Through her NGO Reinserta un Mexicano, Saskia Niño de Rivera works to reshape the country’s prison system in more ways than one. She also works with kidnapping victims and their families, as well as teenagers who need extra support. For her, each day is all about doing her part to change and influence reality for the better. “Each one of us can do things to make a difference. If everybody in Mexico had a cause for which they stood, this country would be very different. Mexico is my life; it is my identity. I love being Mexican, and I’m proud of it.”
