Passionate about the environment, Halel Engineer established Bahrain’s first homegrown environmental consultancy firm. Through it, she works with the public and private sector and various organisations to conserve Bahrain’s environmental wealth. “We need to take care of our land. We need to recycle and take care of the environment. Raising awareness is really important, here and around the world,” she says. “It’s our lives we’re talking about.”
