With his three children firmly in mind, Mauricio Vila is committed to putting in every effort toward the future that they deserve—not unlike how, in the service of the public, he does his best to find consensus, relying on dialogue, listening to citizens and avoiding unproductive confrontation. He credits education as his springboard to success. Finding inspiration in his high school teacher, he’s learned to always anticipate developments—a strategy that has paid off.
