When Hurricane David destroyed most of her belongings back in the 1970s, she found silver linings, like enjoying the beauty of nature, whose flowers bloom every day. As President of Fundación Brugal, she has explored and championed so many diverse causes that are deserving of society’s attention. After all, as Virginia explains, everything eventually goes away—everything, except love.
