A veritable force of nature in organising grassroots volunteering to help those less fortunate in Kuwait, Bibi Al-Ayoub is a rare breed of woman. With minimal sponsorship, working primarily through word of mouth and her personal social media accounts and relying on her own funds and the donations of volunteers, she feeds the poor, supports orphaned children and hospital patients, and works to promote hands-on engagement and a pro-work ethos amongst Kuwaiti youth. “I want to create change, to raise the awareness of need and to promote involvement,” she says. “When you give, you will get back.”
