A man with a sense of curiosity so keen that it drove him to travel the globe and climb its highest mountains, Zed Al Refai is a pioneer of mountaineering in the Arab world. Motivated by a desire to know the lands and cultures he read about in books, and determined to overcome his own perceived limitations, Zed has taken on summit after summit and now works to nurture the passion for mountaineering amongst Kuwaiti and Middle Eastern youth.
