Combining her lifelong passions for architecture and design, Amna Al Salem creates unique Kuwaiti-made fashion collections that are earning her a place on the world stage. Amna built her success on her own strength and hard work and has dealt with her fair share of naysayers and struggles over the years. Today, she wants to add her voice to those encouraging Kuwaiti youth to be confident and pursue their dreams. “You can do this. Everyone can do what they want to do if they put it in their head,” she says. “Yes, of course there are other steps, but you have to fight for what you want. It’s not a piece of cake.”
