Rana Al-Khaled has made a career out of mentorship through her work with the Protégés programme, an organisation that develops youth both as self-aware individuals and future professionals. Her path was by no means a straight line, but Rana’s passion for simultaneously honouring her own interests and giving back to society ultimately led her to this fulfilling work. Her hope for young people is that they too can use their inner voice as a compass. “Always ask yourself, Am I being truthful to my values? We are human, so we will slip, but we need to keep using our values as a compass.”
