From Morocco to the Dominican Republic!

Those Who Inspire Movement (TWI) was in this beautiful Caribbean island-nation to inspire, encourage and stimulate the Dominican youth with its book Those Who Inspire República Dominicana, the twelfth of its collection, published in August 2021.

The purpose of TWI is to inspire and empower the younger generation by connecting them with local mentors. Those Who Inspire República Dominicana is a book that will allow Millennials and Gen Z to discover and get to know a wide range of role models and mentors from their own country to turn to and count on when needed.

Those Who Inspire República Dominicana is bursting with storytelling, energy, and life – 36 tales of fascinating women and men of all walks of life. It’s a tool for future generations! Regardless of their reputation and level of civic or corporate responsibility, all Inspiring People in the book are committed to acting as mentors, as well as sharing their values and beliefs with our readers. For TWI they donate their greatest resource of all: time.

We thank Freddy Ginebra, a cultural manager and believer in the human race, who opened his heart and the doors of Casa de Teatro to TWI; Patricia de Moya, editor and topnotch businesswoman; José Mármol, a banker and a Harley rider; Arelis Rodríguez a financier who is also known to be a philanthropist, just to name a few. We are grateful for their invaluable insight, tips, support when it came down to contacting inspiring people and for helping me to get a better grasp, understanding and appreciation of the Dominican Republic, a place to which, in a way, I now belong.

TWI objective is very straightforward: to get as many books as possible into the hands of as many Millennials & Gen Z as possible. This is achieved through a partnership programme with companies, entities, and individuals. Half of the books go to the donating partner’s young employees and the other half is donated to public universities on the partners’ behalf.

On Friday August 27 TWI held an event to present the book at INTEC, the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, considered the best institute of technology in the country.

To close, in October 2021 the online version of the book will be available. And always remember to:

Be curious – Read – Be Inspired
