The events of October 1968 left their mark not just on her youth but, ultimately, on Flora Auron’s entire life. Flora is a trailblazer in applying clinical psychology techniques to family therapy. Since returning to Mexico from her training in Israel, she has taught generations of professionals in this and related fields. She notes that gender-based violence is still a big issue; an immense challenge that requires collective commitment on every level.
