IN SHORT

Guillermo Jaime almost didn’t graduate. When his family ran out of money to pay tuition, he found a way to make things work, and he has been going at full speed ever since. While working at CEMEX, Guillermo seized the opportunity to be a part of their Innovación program. He would go on to start his social enterprise Grupo MIA, specializing in building houses for impoverished families throughout Mexico. Now he’s building around 7,000 homes per year for rural and semi-urban families. “I realized I had to do my part to help address the poverty situation in Mexico, and so I committed myself to it.”
