Ever since he was a boy, Dr Hashim Suleiman Hussein wanted to change the world. For over 22 years, he has led an effort to promote entrepreneurship, attract domestic and foreign investment, and support youth and women as Head of UNIDO’s ITPO Bahrain. His model was so successful that it’s now used in over 56 countries worldwide. “There’s a saying in Bahrain,” he says. “‘If you have a dream and you have commitment and discipline, you can do it.’”
