Kadaria Ahmed’s career as a journalist has been matched by few Nigerian women. While she considers herself fortunate to have made a living from journalism while gaining tremendous experience with the BBC on shows like Focus on Africa and Network Africa, she advises young Nigerians these days to be practical in their job searches, but to consistently cultivate their true passion on the side. “Your passion in life isn’t necessarily going to pay the bills. But even if you have to get a job just to make ends meet, you can still make time for what you love – which leads to a healthy balance.”
