Mariana Baños founded Fundación Origen in 1999, and the program has gone on to impact countless lives to this day. The foundation specializes in working with mothers and families, helping to address and prevent things like violence and poverty. For Mariana, this whole thing started when she went on mission trips, learning the true meaning of poverty and generosity. She is incapable of standing by while other people suffer, and so has committed herself to this cause. “Indifference is the worst. We all have something to contribute, and we must do our part.”
