Sidy Mohamed Chérif was born in Dakar and had not stepped foot in Guinea before the age of 12 – when his parents moved back to Sagalé, in the region of Labé. Raised by watchful sisters, affectionate uncles and a caring father, his childhood was authentically African. Putting his tenacity to the test, Sidy has climbed the ranks at a prestigious international auditing firm, and also helped set up the Guinean subsidiary of the African BCI Group.
