Soumaya Merhi is making quite an impact in Lebanon’s health food industry. Taqa, her bakery, specialises in wheat-free, GMO-free vegan-friendly snacks. But, perhaps surprisingly, Soumaya didn’t always know this was what she wanted to do. “You have to identify the things you might like and speak to somebody. With so much going on, we sometimes need to be guided by someone who sees the larger picture, which is why mentoring is so powerful.”
