Born into a family of shopkeepers, raised by an aunt who was also a shopkeeper,
Aboubacar Koïta was expected to become a shopkeeper too. Yet, his passion for design
was too strong; it was love at first sight back when he was barely a teenager. Against all odds, Aboubacar taught himself, developing a network of clients and peers, starting his own company, and earning the spot of Head Graphic Design for the Presidency of the Republic of Guinea.
