As an artist and fashion designer, Carla Fernández’s mission is to keep Mexico’s rich diversity and culture alive, and also to help maintain those important traditions around artisan-made crafts. She couldn’t imagine a world without that color and diversity. Today, she is combining her artistic passions with a flair for entrepreneurship, running a small enterprise and actually creating jobs for other women. “My team is what keeps me going each day. If I’m not going to help create these job opportunities for other people, it wouldn’t be fair for me to expect others to do the same.”
