Her mother instilled in her a love of music, and Carmen Enedina Rodríguez Armenta learned to play the piano. Later, she decided to switch to a different keyboard, discovering her passion for computers. At the Engineering Academy and at the University of Guadalajara alike, she builds efficient teams where men and women are on equal footing. She says that to achieve gender equality, we must empower women to study and work in the sciences.
