“I never give up,” says Eugenie Hosri, chairwoman of Sacotel and co-owner of the Fernand Hosri Group. Centring on family, business and education, she works through various groups to promote educational and professional opportunities for girls and women. She hopes to see more young Lebanese stay, work and innovate in the country. “If you let go, it’s difficult to come back and restart,” she says with a smile and a shrug. “And I love Lebanon.”
