From hours of cooking shows to the melting pot of Miami and back in Kuwait, chef Faisal Alnashmi, co-owner of Almakan and Table Otto, has followed his passion for cooking across continents and returned, bringing with him his signature style and chef culture. Facing and overcoming challenges, he has become a key force in transforming the country’s dining scene. “More people are coming back to Kuwait with culinary degrees, and I’m proud that I’m able to become a mentor and a teacher.
