Farid Bensaïd was ten years old when his parents gave him the violin that was to change his fate. But, financially speaking, a musician’s life is no bed of roses, so he studied engineering while carrying on his musical practice. Today, he is a first-rate violin player, a successful businessman, and the founder of the Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra and Mazaya – a non-profi t dedicated to educating underprivileged children through music.
