One of the pioneers of cardiac surgery in Bahrain, Dr Habib E Al-Taraif has played a key role in bringing this life-saving specialisation to the kingdom, providing crucial treatment and making the country a beacon for the region. “As a Bahraini, I want to see Bahrain reach to the highest calibre amongst developed countries,” says Habib. “With that goal in mind, I try as much as possible to contribute to this achievement, to raise up my country.”
