According to a national survey, eight out of ten women suffered from domestic violence in Guinea. Founder of the NGO Amali – which means “help her” – Houray Bah is herself a survivor of domestic abuse. This traumatic experience sparked a flame within to put herself at the service of those, unfortunately too many, who continue to suffer. Houray advocates for the emancipation of women and fights against all forms of violence.
