The youngest of seven children, Chef Issa was brought up by a doctor-turned-farmer father and a housewife mother. At 15, he fell in love with pastry-making, after he was introduced to this world by his brother. It was Chef Issa’s calling. After 20 years abroad, he returned to Guinea in 2010 to start a catering
fi rm and pass on his knowledge – including to youths without formal qualifications, who he firmly believes in supporting and uplifting.
