Beauty, bright smiles and vivid colours are all part of Manamba Kanté. Her songs bring the best of the millenary griot art to the stage. As a child, she was immersed in the musical atmosphere of her mother’s family, who came from a long line of traditional musicians. After her brilliant school years, she became a fi nalist in the RFI Discovery Prize in 2020. With her husband, Kanté created the SBMK Foundation in 2022 to help deprived children.
