Oman’s breathtaking natural beauty is value-added to the country’s development strategy. Lamees Daar, a young activist and Executive Director of the Environmental Society of Oman (ESO), believes that Omanis must preserve their environmental heritage while building the future. “We must be proud of Oman's natural environment and be aware that it is our responsibility to protect it,” she says. “It depends on us and our children to build on what we have already achieved. Let us be part of the solution, not the problem.”
