Throughout Lorena Ochoa's golf career, she faced her share of ups and downs, challenges that taught her how to react in the face of adversity and to push her dreams to the very limit. Her love for Mexico was always a big inspiration while competing in golf. But golf alone was never enough, which is why she continues to work with her own foundation, supporting the educational needs of underprivileged children in Guadalajara. “I’ve always been sensitive to people who need support, and I saw fi rsthand how education was one of the most important needs of them all.”
