After a lifetime of caring for others, Loretta Lau is still not done with her contribution to society. A retired nurse with almost four decades of experience, she devotes her time to mentoring and tutoring, passing on her skills to younger nurses and inspiring the younger generation to take up one of the most valuable professions there is. “Nursing is about offering care and help to others. So maybe it’s my professional training, but even though I’ve retired, I think I’ll be a nurse until the day I die,” she says, laughing. “It’s so much more than just a job.”
