Born in Conakry, Mariam Kourouma had a happy childhood, with a senior finance
executive mother and an agronomist father. She completed her secondary education in Paris, where she also began her professional career. When she returned to Guinea at the age of 25, she launched the O’Burger fast food restaurant chain. Eager to support the local workforce, she works with the underqualified, training them in new skills and helping them build a career.
