After falling in love with the guitar at age nine, Mohammed Rashid followed his dream to become a professional musician. Today, he is a member of the Bahrain Police Band and the Bahrain Music Band. He’s also a leading figure in Bahrain’s gypsy jazz scene, a recording artist and a returning artist at the country’s Jazz Fest. “To play as a jazz musician in Bahrain…” Mohammed says. “That’s my passion.”
