Osama Ali Najaf Abdullah Kamshad has always pursued a life of action: He was a child athlete and national and regional champion, a proud chief warrant officer and instructor in the Kuwait Naval Special Unit, skydiving enthusiast, scuba instructor, and most recently award-winning triathlete. He also happens to be paraplegic. Through the Kuwait Triathlon Disabled Foundation, which he established in 2017, he hopes to open up the way to the Olympics for disabled athletes in the country. “You have to find the strength to fight for your dream,” he says, showing the way.
