Very different and very alike, Hussa Al Humaidhi and Sara Al Nafisi followed parallel paths to find each other and combine their creativity and passion for communication in two side-by-side culture and design ventures: Raw Design, their commercial business, and Nuqat, a non-profit platform for cultural programming and community networking in Kuwait and the MENA region. The secret to their success, really, is difference. “We each have specific skills so that we can be different,” says Sara. “We have to align ourselves with our passion and purpose.”
