IN SHORT
Growing up in an indigenous village where women were unfairly treated was not easy for Xóchitl Gálvez. Early on in life, she showed a talent for helping to improve the world around her, and she worked incredibly hard to make things happen in her life so that she could help elevate the lives of others. “People believe money makes you happy, but that’s not true. If you have achieved your dreams, then you are happy. It took a lifetime for me to have what I have, to be where I am. I encourage you to persevere. Don’t give up. Be constant and be consistent.”
