Born in Mamou, Djenabou Diallo grew up in a relatively modest stepfamily. When she graduated from high school, her dream was studying medicine, but it was something altogether different that won her over: agronomy. Soon, she specialised in cocoa. Seeing the potential of this sector in Guinea, she decided to take it further. Today she is the Managing Director of Demal Expertises and is developing a local fairtrade chocolate brand, Zeïna Cacao.
