Dentist, artist, and businessman, Dr Essa N. Al Essa combines a fiery passion for his work with a stable, solid base of perseverance. He has set out to redefine dentistry in Kuwait and establish the country as the dental capital of the developing world. A philanthropist who’s established clinics for refugees in Lebanon and also a beekeeper—“they’re dying you know, so I have to do my part”—he’s quietly set out to do his part for the world. “If you improve the developing world, then you have a world that’s better for everyone. If we each improve our fields, then we improve everything,” he says.
