Passionate and way ahead of the curve, computer engineer Manar Alhashash was developing apps before most people had even heard the word. Through her company, her position at KFAS and her engagement with civil societies in Kuwait and around the globe, she promotes programming and local content in Kuwait. “This is a great country,” Manar says. “It has gone through lots of challenges throughout history, and today it stands out for its unique vibe and sense of community—being close to each other and supporting each other, but also being very outgoing, very liberal.”
