At thirty-six, NiQ Lai took a leap of faith: “I wanted to work for something I felt passionate about,” he says of leaving his successful career to buy into Hong Kong Broadband Network. Today, he’s the company’s Chief Talent & Financial Officer and Co-owner. “By owning a piece of the company, you look after it differently,” says NiQ, explaining that HKBN promotes development and encourages their Talents (HKBN doesn't have ‘staff’ - it has Talents) to take initiative. “HKBN’s purpose is to ‘Make our Hong Kong a better place to live’.
