Virginia Sendel made quite a name for herself as a journalist in Mexico, but after the tragic loss of her daughter and grandson in a terrible fire, her life changed forever. She has since focused her energy into developing Fundación Michou y Mau, a foundation that supports and helps burned victims in Mexico. To date, the foundation has made an inspiring impact on the lives of thousands of families and children. “This foundation is changing people’s lives and raising awareness about how dangerous home fires can be, how to prevent them, and the needs of burned people and how we must care for them.”
