A chemical engineer by training, Wafaa Alzaabi has used her passion for learning and innovation to build a brilliant career at KPC, rising through the ranks to become managing director of finance and planning. Her predisposition to work hard and integrate different perspectives has been a key tool in overcoming the many challenges of her work. She also praises the importance of teamwork, acknowledging others’ potential and contributions. “No matter how high your position, you must always respect people,” she says. “Everybody contributes. So don’t look down on people. Humbleness is essential for leadership.”
