IN SHORT
Xavier López Ancona took a risk when he left his big job at General Electric to start KidZania, which developed into interactive cities where kids could role-play. You can now find a KidZania in twenty-four countries around the world. It’s a business that is both profitable and adds value to society. Xavier would like to see more businesses embrace that dual model, and he encourages Mexico to pay more attention to its entrepreneurs. “Many Mexicans want to succeed and retire very young and it is not about that. You must work a lot. Study and prepare to have a lot of experience.”
