Avoiding careers with glass ceilings or based on factors beyond her control, Jennifer Cheng turned to business and giving back, areas in which she could make a difference. Glam-it!, which she founded in 2013, is all about empowerment and positivity – a fashion and beauty brand with a socially responsible, eco-chic twist. She draws inspiration from other female entrepreneurs and women in leadership – “women who tune out all the noise and just go for it,” she explains. “In any field, when people tell you you can’t do something, that is just more incentive to prove – to yourself – that you can.”
