Born in 1983 in the far region of Forested Guinea, Mamadou Lamarana Barry grew up in a large family. A brilliant student, he attended ISCAE Guinea, the local branch of the largest Moroccan business school,
proceeding to build an emblematic career in banking and becoming General Manager of BIG, the country’s Islamic bank. Driven by a sense of solidarity, Mamadou has been engaged and active in several charitable
organizations ever since he was 17.
