Morocco’s mountains and their Amazigh inhabitants are a constant compass in Youssef Ait Lemkadem’s trajectory. After studying linguistics and education at the Sorbonne, he went on to play a major part in the integration of Amazigh language into the official school syllabus. He’s also behind the creation of a hospitality complex in his native region of Midelt in yet another effort to help the local economy and showcase this invaluable heritage.
